Stitch it, don't ditch it!
Learn various ways to repair and revamp your clothes using patching and embroidery techniques. Whether you’re a beginner or a seasoned stitcher, you’ll leave with the skills (and confidence!) to turn wear and tear into wearable art.
What to bring: clothes to mend, assorted scraps of fabric, hand-sewing needles, threads e.g. cotton, sashiko/embroidery thread. Don’t worry, we will provide extra threads and fabrics if you don’t have any in your craft stash.
Bring along a well-loved item and discover the joy of slow fashion and sustainable style.

Wellsford Town Cleanup
Spend an hour helping clean up Wellsford town on the first Sunday of June and help us keep this town beautiful.
A family-friendly community event — all ages welcome. Hi-vis vests, rubbish bags, and rubbish pick-up sticks provided. Snacks provided afterwards.

The great big love your leftovers cook-off
Gather a team of friends or colleagues and put your cooking skills to the test as you transform forgotten fridge finds and pantry staples into something delicious. Expect teamwork, plenty of laughs, spot prizes throughout the evening, and a prize for the winning team.
We’ll provide the ingredients, and we’ll all enjoy a meal together at the end.
To help keep things running smoothly (and reduce waste!), please bring:
– 2 good knives and a couple of chopping boards per team.
– Your own picnic set (plates, cups, cutlery, etc.) to enjoy your meal from.
